Lower.
Wider.
Better.
The 2026 Melbourne Motor Show is done and dusted, and what a run it was. We brought the full H&R experience to Melbourne — including Alex's Amethyst Purple BMW M3 Touring from Iilumo Labs on H&R Height Adjustable Springs, the complete product range on display, and a whole lot of conversations with people who care just as much about quality suspension as we do.
Here is a look back at the stand, the products, the crowd, and everything in between.
Built for the Show Floor
Our stand came together around a single idea: put the product front and centre in an environment that felt unmistakably H&R. Bold blue from floor to ceiling, the logo scaled up at every angle, and every product given room to breathe. The goal was not just to showcase what we make — it was to make people feel what the brand is about before they even stopped walking.
The "Lower. Wider. Better." tagline ran across the back wall in metre-high type. It is three words that pretty much say everything.

The BMW M3 Touring That Stopped Traffic
The star of the stand was Alex's Amethyst Purple BMW M3 Touring — a build put together by Alex from Iilumo Labs. The M3 wagon sits on H&R Height Adjustable Springs, which give it that perfectly tucked stance while keeping the setup streetable day to day. The paint shifts between deep purple and cherry depending on the light, and the blue DRL signature made it unmistakable from across the show floor.
The build is finished with an Adro body kit and sits on BBS LM wheels — a combination that fills the arches exactly as intended and makes the whole package look purposeful from every angle.
The car drew a crowd from the moment the doors opened each day. It is a genuine example of what is possible when every part of the build — suspension, aero, and wheel fitment — is done properly.

The right suspension setup does not just change how a car sits — it changes how the whole car feels to drive, and how it looks standing still.

H&R Anti-Roll Bars
The anti-roll bar display gave visitors a look at how H&R approaches the full suspension system, not just springs. Reducing body roll while keeping the ride compliant is a balance H&R has been engineering for since 1981.
Engineered to minimise body roll during cornering, H&R Anti-Roll Bars help keep the tyres planted and working more effectively — resulting in greater grip, sharper turn-in, and improved driver confidence on both road and track.

The stand attracted a solid mix of enthusiasts, builders, and everyday car people who wanted to understand the brand. Constant foot traffic from open to close across the full run of the show.
